Community Services
The Catawba Area Agency on Aging advocates, plans, coordiates and funds programs and services to enhance the lives of older adults living in Chester, Lancaster, Union and York Counties. The primary services funded and delivered in the Catawba region include:
- Congregate Meals - Nutritious meals and fellowship provided in a community setting.
- Transportation - Enables individuals to get necessary desitinations.
- Home Care - In-home assistance with chores such as shopping, laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Home Delivered Meals - Nutritious meals delivered to homebound elderly.
- Health Promotion - Disease prvention, health education, and health promotion activites.
